Majesty 2 - Parties of Heroes

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. "

A party is a group of heroes who act and fight in close cooperation. In Majesty 2 we try to make heroes mutually complementary so that together they become stronger than they ever would be alone.
One could even say that in parties, the principle of cooperation works out such that "1+1=3". It is better for the player to use several classes of characters and combine them into parties.

We have been working to make this feature of the game more vivid, compared with how it was realized in the first Majesty. By joining a party, heroes are able to realize their potential more completely, because their weaknesses are covered by the strengths of their companions. A Warrior is able to plunge into battle without worry of his decreasing health, and a Mage or an Archer can avoid dangers of melee. As heroes rise in levels, they acquire special abilities designed especially for teamwork.
In contrast to the original game, in Majesty 2 the players form parties of heroes themselves.

"And I'm just supposed to help you out of the evilness of my heart?"

Heroes may be united in parties as follows:
· A player builds a tavern which, upon reaching certain requirements, will offer the option of “announcing party recruitment”(with a special button).
· Heroes who want to join a party then gather near the tavern, with LFG  icons above their heads.
· The players forms a party from the heroes who wish to join.
· After that, the party acts as a single unit – it moves together, fights together, etc.
· The party breaks up after the death of all its members, or when it is disbanded by the player.
· The size of a party is limited to four heroes.

By forming a party, the players do not manage the characters, but rather they create a new military unit – much like hiring a new hero. In a party, your heroes will act more bravely, and they will try to stick together. Some characters will acquire new abilities that can be used only in a group. For example, an Elven hero increases the speed of slower-moving members of the group.
