What's new in Majesty2?

“I heard a good deal about a King, about demons and rats,
and something about the end of the world.”

What's new in Majesty 2?
Let me tell you the main differences between Majesty 2 and the original Majesty. While faithful to the original game, Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim offers a number of new features:

New flags
Previously, in the original game Majesty, players could influence the characters by setting two flags – an attack flag and an exploration flag. Majesty 2 offers two additional control flags – a protection flag and a fear flag. Further information about these new control flags is available in the Flags  section.

Parties
There is also a new system of forming parties (groups) of heroes. In contrast to the first Majesty, players of Majesty 2 can themselves form parties of heroes. Further information on this system is available in the Parties section.

“Even the smallest king can change the course of the future.”

Engine, graphics & physics
Majesty 2 features a new engine, graphics, and game-world physics. It is based on the Gem3 engine licensed from Best Way company. Further information on the technical features of the game is provided under System Requirements .

“Evil is stirring, but the King has awoken.”

Multiplayer
The game offers an advanced multiplayer system for play over the Internet or LAN. Detailed information on multiplayer in Majesty 2 is provided in the Multiplayer section.

“Your Majesty, I'm glad your back.”
“So am I dear boy. So am I. “

Compatibility of races and religions

In Majesty 2 there is no total incompatibility between any races or religions, although some combinations are more difficult than others. For further information see the Races  section.

“Are you frightened? Not nearly frightened enough.”

Lords
At the end of each mission you can grant one of your heroes the title of Lord, so that you may hire him or her in later missions. You can find detailed information in the Lords  section.

Great Artifacts
The King can receive Great Artifacts. For a victory in certain missions, His Majesty (the player) will receive “great artifacts” that can be used in further missions. These are the raiment proper to His Royal Majesty: the Scepter, the Orb, the Crown, and the Mantle. Each relic has its own magical effects. For example, the Scepter harnesses a powerful attacking spell, and the Orb can be used to heal all the heroes of the Kingdom.

“There is only one King, only one who can bend it to his will. And he does not share power. “
